Sharon Regional Welcomes Pain and Sleep Centers

SHARON, Pa. – Sharon Regional Medical Center held a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the newly added pain and sleep centers as well as upgrades made to patient rooms.

The pain and sleep centers were previously located at different buildings, but in an attempt to provide easier access to services and create a better patient experience, they are now located on the third floor of the medical center. Rooms used for inpatient stays that traditionally held two patients now hold one patient – an upgrade that both the staff and patients can appreciate.

“Our staff have told us in terms of moving patients, helping them walk, cleaning the rooms, it’s just so much easier to have that extra space versus trying to navigate a semi-private room that has a curtain in between the beds,” says Bob Rogalski, president of Sharon Regional Medical Center.
