Shenango Honda Celebrates 40 Years

HERMITAGE, Pa. — In February, Shenango Honda will celebrate a “major milestone” as it begins its 40th year serving the Shenango Valley area.

Since 1980, the dealership at 3965 E. State St. has built its award-winning brand on strong work ethic and staying true to the beliefs of its owner and president, John Apostolakis, he said in a press release. Some of its accolades include its finance team ranking among the top 15% of Honda dealers with the Nine Time Council of Excellence award, and its service department achieving “Elite” status and earning the Customer Service Experience and Fixed First Visit awards.

“We have always believed that our customers are the driving force behind our success,” Apostolakis said. “Over the years, we have built strong relationships in the surrounding communities and we have loyal customers.  We treat our customers like family and that has been the key to our success.”

Charitable giving is a part of that support for the community, he said. The dealership participates in the annual Feed Our Valley Campaign. Last year, it collected 132 pounds of food to benefit the Community Food Warehouse of Mercer County.

To celebrate its 40th anniversary, Shenango Honda is offering extra “anniversary savings” during February. The dealership will offer “substantial discounts on select models, extra-high trade in allowances and early lease termination,” and that more details will be released in February, said a company representative.
