Shorokey to Retire; Alta Care Group Searches for New CEO
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Alta Care Group is in the process of searching for a new CEO.
Joe Shorokey, who joined the then Diagnostic and Evaluation Clinic in 1985, is retiring after almost 40 years of service. He has helped the organization build a strong leadership team, grow behavioral health services and locations, diversify revenue streams and add Head Start services in Mahoning and Trumbull counties, a news release states.
Alta is looking for a visionary and dynamic CEO to lead the organization in its mission and through its next phase of growth and impact, a news release states. The CEO will oversee all aspects of organizational management, including program quality and development, financial stewardship, fundraising and community relations.
The CEO will also collaborate closely with the board of directors to ensure effective governance and will serve as the primary spokesperson for the organization.
