Simon Roofing Launches Puncture-Resistant System
BOARDMAN, Ohio – Simon Roofing has released a single ply roof replacement option named CLP Membrane that is proven to be both strength and puncture resistant, according to the company.
“This product is a major step forward in roof replacement technology,” said Simon Roofing co-owner Anthony Vross in a news release. “Instead of a laminated system, it’s a saturated, seamless, puncture-resistant roof system priced to compete with PVC (polyvinyl chloride) and TPO (thermoplastic polyolefin) roofs that’s derived from proven scientific applications we haven’t seen in roofing up to now.”
Several years ago Simon Roofing expanded its business by consolidating the supply chain for customers. Now the company says its products and services encompass the entire value chain, from specifications and inspections to manufacturing and installing their own products.
The CLP Membrane is among the first significant innovation following an investment in research and development initiatives at Simon Roofing, Vross says. Part of that investment included the outfitting of a in-house product-testing lab, partnerships with university research centers and the hiring of scientists tasked with product testing and development responsibilities.
