Simon Roofing Renews ISO Certification
BOARDMAN, Ohio – Simon Roofing has earned the company-wide renewal of its ISO 9001:2015 certification, which covers “the manufacturing, installation and service of high-quality, resistant coating formulations and materials for building, construction and specialty application,” the company said.
Simon Roofing first earned the certification, formerly known as ISO 9001:2008, in 2010 for its manufacturing and call center in Boardman. All of the company’s locations were certified in 2016.
“It’s rare, if not unprecedented, for a roofing company to achieve ISO certification across its entire operations, and it’s a sign to our customers that we’re committed to quality control and continuous improvement in everything we do,” said Michael Dohar, Simon Roofing chief operating officer.
The audit to renew the ISO certification was completed by TUV Rheinland of North America.
According to Roofing Contractor magazine, Simon Roofing is the 14th largest commercial roofing company in the country. It operates 66 service centers across the United States.
Founded in 1900, the company is operated by its third- and fourth generations of family members.
