Smarts Wins $50,000 Campaign from iSynergy
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Students Motivated by the Arts has won a $50,000 media campaign through a social media contest hosted by iSynergy, who will provide website development, logo design, content writing and other marketing services.
“We are excited to begin work on this project,” said Steve Cross, owner and creative director of iSynergy. “We had a great response to the campaign. Smarts received 10,521 of nearly 20,000 votes. They are a very deserving organization, and my staff is chomping at the bit to help make a difference for them.”
ISynergy announced the results of its Digital Boost contest July 13. Participants were required to be based in Mahoning, Trumbull or Columbiana counties in Ohio or Beaver, Lawrence or Mercer counties in Pennsylvania. The two other finalists were The Cornerstone in Beaver, Pa., and Potential Development in Youngstown.
“We’re so proud of the support we received, not only from the Mahoning Valley, but also throughout the country,” said Becky Keck, executive director of Smarts. “I think it’s a great testament to the importance of teaching through the arts as well as to our support base during our transition and into our future.”
Smarts is a community art school based downtown that offers students in kindergarten through 12th grade classes in visual arts, music, dance, theater and creative writing.
ISynergy, a marketing agency in Boardman, combines “traditional offline advertising methods with modern online technologies.”
Last year, the company won the Webby People’s Voice Award.
