Daniel Smith, M.D., has joined Akron Children’s Hospital as a developmental-behavioral pediatrician. Smith will see patients in Akron Children’s Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics Department, which diagnoses and treats a range of developmental and behavioral problems in children. He earned his bachelor’s degree in psychology from Wright State University and his medical degree from Northeast Ohio Medical University in Rootstown. At Akron Children’s, he completed his general pediatrics residency and also his fellowship in developmental-behavioral pediatrics. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Pediatrics and a Level 4 Certified Provider of the Positive Parenting Program, as well as a member of the Society for Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics and American Academy of Pediatrics.
