Sneak Peek: SRMC Surgery and Outpatient Pavilion
COLUMBIANA, Ohio – After seven years of planning and development, Salem Regional Medical Center is set to unveil its newest outpatient health care facility.
The $40 million 76,600-square-foot building will be one of the largest medical facilities to serve the area. A grand opening will take place at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday. The public is welcome, and tours will be given during the event.
“Hospitals can’t stay within their own walls forever. We have to look at how to bring health care to the community,” says Anita Hackstedde, president and CEO of Salem Regional Medical Center. “We want to make sure that we can bring the services to them instead of making the patient necessarily come to us for everything.”
