VIDEO: Public Library of Youngstown and Mahoning County Renovations
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio — This Saturday from noon to 5 p.m., the Public Library of Youngstown and Mahoning County will hold a grand reopening celebration.
Get a sneak peek of the renovations and the new spaces including:
Culinary literacy center
Eight study rooms
Family engagement area
Grand reading room with restored glass skylight
Historic Wick avenue steps with bronze doors
“The project was planned out to be roughly around twenty-seven million dollars,” says Aimee Fifarek, Director and CEO of the Public Library of Youngstown and Mahoning County. “We have been saving for this renovation for better than a decade.”
