Southwoods Adds Four Doctors to Physician Network

BOARDMAN, OhioSouthwoods Health this week announced the addition of four doctors to its growing network of physicians.

Chad Cochran, D.O., is a sports medicine physician who is board certified in both family medicine and sports medicine. Cochran is fellowship trained in primary care sports medicine from Summa Health System in Akron. He received his B.S. from The Ohio State University, his Master’s in kinesiology at A.T. Still University in Mesa, Ariz., and his doctorate from Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine.

Cochran is seeing patients at 1335 Belmont Ave. in Youngstown and the Southwoods Pain & Spine Center, 250 DeBartolo Place in Boardman.

Brandon Dessecker, M.D. specializes in minimally invasive general surgery, endoscopy, and bariatric surgery. He is board certified in general surgery and fellowship trained in advanced GI minimally invasive and bariatric surgery. Dessecker received his B.S. from Youngstown State University, his medical degree from NEOMED in Rootstown and completed his residency at Western Reserve Health Education.

Dessecker’s office is at 7600 Southern Blvd., Suite 2 in Boardman.

James Enyeart, M.D., is a primary care physician board certified in both family medicine and geriatric medicine. He received his B.S. from the University of Notre Dame, his doctorate at the Medical College of Ohio at Toledo and completed his residency at St. Elizabeth Medical Center.

Enyeart is accepting new patients at 121 E. Liberty St. in Girard.

Michael Shumaker, D.O. is a fellowship-trained spine surgeon. He received his B.S. from Duquesne University and his medical degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine.

Shumaker is seeing patients at the Southwoods Pain & Spine Center, 250 DeBartolo Place in Boardman.
