Sportsbook at Hollywood Gaming Will Open Friday

AUSTINTOWN, Ohio – After four months of construction, Hollywood Gaming will open its Barstool Sportsbook shortly after noon Friday.

A private ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place that morning.

The property has been taking sports bets from self-service kiosks since Jan. 1, while the Sportsbook area remained under construction on the second floor.

The Sportsbook will feature two 14-foot-by-8-foot video walls with the ability to concurrently show 18 sporting events.

Additional video walls and an enhanced sound package have also been installed.

The restaurant area has been given a full renovation and will feature a menu featuring past favorites and a variety of new items.

The new facility is opening just in time for the Super Bowl, which is Sunday.

“This is the premier dining and sports betting experience our guests have been looking for, and we are excited to open this new venue the weekend of the big game,” said Rob Swedinovich, vice president and general manager for Hollywood Gaming.

“Our team has spent countless hours refining the menu in preparation for this opening. Whether you are a frequent visitor or looking to try something new, we can’t wait to welcome everyone to our restaurant.”

Formerly known as Skybox, the restaurant had been in place since Hollywood Gaming opened in 2014.
