SRMC Primary Care Welcomes Whippo

SALEM, Ohio — Salem Regional Medical Center announced today that board certified family nurse practitioner Jessica Whippo is joining internal medicine physician Dr. Anna Orlando at SRMC Primary Care – Lisbon effective May 4.

As a board certified family nurse practitioner, Whippo provides care to patients from age 18 through adulthood. She offers a full range of primary care services, including preventative and wellness care, sick visits, chronic disease management and health education.

Whippo obtained a B.S. in nursing from Kent State University, and most recently earned her M.S. in nursing from Chamberlain University. She holds a national certification with the American Association of Nurse Practitioners as a family nurse practitioner. She joined SRMC’s staff over 18 years ago, working as an registered nurse for the last 15 years as a medical-surgical and perioperative nurse. Whippo most recently served as operating room coordinator at SRMC before accepting her new role.

Patients of SRMC Primary Care – Lisbon can see their providers online in the privacy of their own home by using the FollowMyHealth® Patient Portal. This telehealth service allows patients to have a secure and easy way to receive care from their healthcare team in a live, virtual visit using a smartphone (iPhone or Android), tablet or computer.
