SRMC Welcomes Coleman, an Otolaryngologist

SALEM, Ohio – Salem Regional Medical Center is welcoming otolaryngologist Gary Coleman, M.D., to its medical staff.

Coleman is seeing patients at SRMC Ear, Nose and Throat, 750 East Park Ave., Columbiana. He provides specialty care for adults and children with a variety of ear, nose and throat conditions. He also performs procedures such as; ear tube insertion; tonsillectomy and adenoidectomy.

“Problems with the ears, nose or throat can drastically affect a person’s comfort and everyday activities, from the ability to communicate clearly to getting a good night’s rest,” Dr. Coleman said. “I look forward to working with my patients to develop treatment plans to help improve their conditions and restore their quality of life.” 

Board certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, Coleman earned his bachelor’s and medical degrees from the University of Michigan. He went on to complete his residency training at Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit. He practiced in Toledo for the past 27 years.

Coleman is a member of the AAO-HNS and the American Medical Association. He has published and presented his research nationally, receiving awards from the Association for Research in Otolaryngology and the American Neurotology Society.
