STG Communication Services Adds Directional Boring Capabilities
COLUMBIANA, Ohio – STG Communication Services has added directional boring to its list of services, giving the telecommunications contractor the ability to place critical infrastructure underground, the company announced.
“We are always looking for new ways to support our customers and give our team more opportunities,” said Jimi Moore, STG’s vice president/partner. “Our team is now equipped and ready to handle any vertical drilling and directional boring project.”
Moore said directional boring in telecommunications presents many advantages. In severe weather, lines placed safely underground mean better connectivity, ensuring that people will be able to call for help and receive critical information in an emergency. The method is commonly used when crossing waterways, roads and environmentally sensitive areas.
“STG’s mission is to keep the world connected, and our directional boring services are another way to make that happen,” said Chris Jaskiewicz, STG’s president/partner.
STG is a full-service logistics and equipment installer for the telecommunications industry. It offers tower installation and maintenance, as well as civil construction services.
