Stillwagon Is 4th Generation Leader of Youngstown Rotary
David Stillwagon, CEO of the Community Corrections Association, was installed this month as president of the Rotary Club of Youngstown. Stillwagon is a fourth-generation Rotarian. His family legacy in the Youngstown club began in 1925 when his great-grandfather, Fred James, joined the club. Fred James served as club president from 1940 to 1941, and his son-in-law, Franklin K. Stillwagon, served as president from 1965 to 1966. Frank’s son and David’s father, Fred Stillwagon, served as club president from 1987 to 1988. That the club’s new president is a fourth generation Rotarian, and the fourth generation of his family to lead this same club, is an “unprecedented milestone across the Rotary world,” according to the announcement of Stillwagon’s installation. The Rotary Club of Youngstown is one of over 33,000 clubs in 200 countries that comprise Rotary International.
