Stock Joins Stambaugh Auditorium as Development Officer

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – JoAnn Stock has joined Stambaugh Auditorium as the venue’s chief development officer, rounding out its new leadership team that includes CEO Matt Pagac, chief strategy officer Michael McGiffin and chief financial officer Kim Slattery.

“We are elated to have JoAnn join Stambaugh’s efforts of promoting and preserving the performing arts in the Mahoning Valley,” said Terry Cloonan, president of Stambaugh Auditorium’s board of directors, in a statement. “She will be a tremendous asset to Stambaugh Auditorium as she continues to be an asset to this community.”

Through her two previous roles as director of development for Akron Children’s Hospital Mahoning Valley and director of marketing and resource development for United Way of Youngstown and the Mahoning Valley, Stock led efforts to raise more than $48 million for local programs, services and capital prjects.

She is a certified fundraising professional and former president of the Mahoning/Shenango Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals. She also serves on the board of directors for the Youngstown Symphony Society and Public Library of Youngstown & Mahoning County.

Over the course of the eight-year evolution of Stambaugh Auditorium’s management team, Cloonan said, ticket sales have increased 1,600%, earned revenue 200% and total income 90%.
