Summer Event Series at The Amp Unveils Schedule

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – The community event concert series at the Youngstown Foundation Amphitheatre will return this summer with several free and ticketed events.

Underwritten by Premier Bank, the series is in its fifth year.

This year’s series started earlier this month with a Party on the Lawn concert, featuring the band RDNA. It was well-attended, and the organizers will seek to repeat that success with future events.

“With each year of the series, we can better tell what kind of events” to book, said Jordan Ryan of JAC Management, executive director of The Amp and Wean Park.

Derrick McDowell, community engagement coordinator for Wean Park, echoed that sentiment. “As this event series continues to appreciate in value, I am confident it will provide a much-needed sense of belonging to the residents of Youngstown,” he said.
