Superior Beverage Supports United Way’s Impact
Stacy Edwards, owner of Superior Beverage Group, chose to partner with the United Way of Youngstown and the Mahoning Valley because she sees the impact on the communities the United Way serves.
“You think about the impact; it’s so far reaching. Not only from the way that the United Way provides programs directly like Success after Six or Saturday of Caring, but also in terms of how many organizations are funded through the United Way,” Edwards said in an interview with Roxann Sebest, director of marketing and communications for United Way.
Moving forward, Edwards hopes to see sustainability for both organizations. “We want to surround ourselves with the people in the community that ultimately are going to help support each other and build each other up. Not only from a nonprofit standpoint because the work that the United Way does is so important and impactful, but also to help the economy of the Mahoning Valley.”
The Change Makers series spotlights the partners, organizations and businesses that have supported the United Way of Youngstown and the Mahoning Valley over the last 100 years. The series is sponsored by the United Way.
