Sweeney Dealerships Earn GM Mark of Excellence
BOARDMAN, Ohio – Sweeney Chevrolet and Sweeney Buick GMC have been awarded General Motors’ Mark of Excellence award, continuing the dealerships’ streak of being named one of GM’s top dealers.
“We had a very strong year in 2017 and are proud that our hard work has been recognized,” said Doug Sweeney, president of Sweeney Chevrolet Buick GMC, in a release. “We believe that our No. 1 priority is providing a customer experience that is second to none and we continue to build on this in 2018.”
The Chevrolet franchise has been presented with the award every since 2004 except 2009 and 2012, while the Buick store was honored in 2007 and every year since 2011. The GMC dealership was presented with the Mark of Excellence award in 2007, 2011 and every year since 2013.
Of General Motors’ nearly 4,500 Chevy, Buick, GMC and Cadillac dealers, only 300 receive the Mark of Excellence honor. Dealerships presented with the award “exhibit superior customer service while growing their business and are proven sales leaders.”
Sweeney Chevrolet will host an official award presentation for the three dealerships with executives from GM June 18.
