Take 5 Car Wash in Salem Sold for $4.4M

SALEM, Ohio – The Take 5 Car Wash on a 2.38-acre East State Street property has been sold for $4.4 million.

Boing US Holdco Inc., the car wash company that bought the property in July 2022 for $875,000, sold the 2.38-acre site this week to Realty Income Properties 29 LLC, located in San Diego, California. 

Realty Income is a real estate acquisition company, which then leases the retail properties. The sale includes an active lease.

The market land value is reported at $259,560 by the Mahoning County auditor’s office, which does not list it as developed. The property is listed by the auditor as zoned commercial but vacant land.

The property tax address is filed under Driven Brands in Charlotte, North Carolina, which operates a car wash conglomerate of more than 900 locations in 14 countries.

The Take 5 Car Wash is located at 2940 E. State St., near Aaron’s Rentals, Home Depot and Brighton Hot Dog Shoppe.
