Business Partnerships Charge TCTC Electrical Technology Program

WARREN, Ohio — The Trumbull Career & Technical Center is helping its students get on track for success through its electrical technology program.

TCTC partners with VEC Inc., REM Electronics, HEXPOL Burton, and Ajax Tocco Magnethermic Corp. to enhance the educational experience of students.

To help maintain a relationship with these companies, TCTC Electrical Technology Instructor Mark Taylor holds a class competition every week and invites representatives from electrical companies to inspect work done by his students.

“It’s a win for me because I get to hear what the industry needs me to teach them. The students get to hear critique from somebody who they can actually get a job from and the employer gets to see possible employees,” Taylor says.
