TCTC Students Earn Second Place in Social Media Contest
WARREN, Ohio – Trumbull Career & Technical Center’s interactive multimedia class was awarded $7,500 as a second-place prize in the “Just Drive” social media campaign contest sponsored by NJM Insurance Group and hosted by Impact Teen Drivers.
The contest required students to design and launch a social media campaign focused on safe driving, including a 30-second public service announcement video.
“This campaign leads itself to career tech education so well because they get to create real world things and put it out to the public and get a wider audience of what they’ve created and let people see their work,” says Kris Doran, interactive multimedia instructor at TCTC. “It’s a blessing to be a part of it and to help these kids kind of figure out how to deliver their message to the world.”
