Tech Belt Technology Summit May 14 at YSU
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio — Data Recovery Services LLC, in partnership with the Youngstown-Warren Regional Chamber, will hold its the third annual Tech Belt Technology Summit May 14 at the YSU Williamson College of Business Administration.
The event, which runs from 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., gives business decision-makers a chance to meet with vendors and information technology.
“As always, our goal is to cover every aspect of the IT industry as it pertains to all management levels,” says Michael Meloy, CEO of DRS. “From exploring the security aspects of Windows 10 to breaking down the benefits of end-to-end [E2E] managed services, we’ll be taking a look at some of this year’s biggest IT topics and offering solutions to everybody’s concerns.”
The 2014 Tech Belt Technology Summit drew 206 attendees and 28 vendors, DRS said in its announcement of this year’s event.
Presentation tracks will be geared toward specific executive levels: chief information officer, owners/CEO, and technology professionals, DRS said in announcing the event. Lunchtime discussions will include speakers from Cisco, EMC Corp., and Hewlett-Packard. And Extreme Networks, a publicly traded specialist in educational technology based in San Jose, Calif., will conduct a roundtable discussion.
DRS, founded in 2000, maintains its headquarters here and operates satellite offices in Columbus and Pittsburgh. It maintains a fiber network that spans the Pittsburgh to Cleveland corridor.
