The Beach Boys Will Return to Youngstown This Summer

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – The Beach Boys will return to the Youngstown Foundation Amphitheatre on July 2.

The iconic band, which last played The Amp in 2021, will hit 55 cities on this year’s “Endless Summer Gold” tour.

Led by lead singer and founding member Mike Love, the band lineup includes longtime member Bruce Johnson, Christian Love, Tim Bonhomme, Jon Bolton, Keith Hubacher, Randy Leago and John Wedemeyer.

Tickets for the show range from $126 to $38.50 and will go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 9, at ticketmaster.com (fees apply) and the Covelli Centre box office.

An online-only presale will take place from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Thursday; use the password KOKOMO.

The band will release its official book, “The Beach Boys by The Beach Boys,” on April 2.

Published in a limited edition of only 500 copies worldwide, the book captures the group’s rise, from the release of its first single, “Surfin,” to its 1980 Independence Day concert at the National Mall in Washington for an audience of over half a million people.

Told through the music of Brian Wilson with chief lyricist Mike Love, along with Al Jardine, Dennis Wilson, Carl Wilson, David Marks and Bruce Johnston, the book includes rare photographs and historical ephemera.

The band further cemented its legacy in “A Grammy Salute to the Beach Boys,” which aired last spring on CBS.

In 2022, The Beach Boys released “Sail On Sailor – 1972,” an expansive box set that dives deep into the group’s transformative early ’70s era.
