‘The Six Ages of Woman’ Returns to Robins Theatre

WARREN, Ohio – “The Six Ages of Woman,” the one-woman comedy show by Mary Faktor, will return to the Robins Theatre on Saturday, Sept. 14.

Tickets for the 8 p.m. show range from $18 to $25 (plus applicable fees) and will go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, June 7, at www.robinstheatre.com and at the box office, 160 E. Market St.

A presale for members of Friends of the Robins Theatre will start at 10 a.m. Thursday.

“The Six Ages of Woman,” which came to the Robins last year, has been a hit for decades. Women who first experienced Faktor’s show in the 1990s are now bringing their own grown daughters to see the PG-rated show.

The show has a timeless message of hope, change and growth. Faktor continually updates it to keep up with the times.

“The Six Ages of Woman” chronicles the life of the character Vicki through phone conversations with her best friend, Madge. Although we never see Vicki’s husband, children or best friend, by the end of the 90-minute show, audiences know them all intimately. Through the course of the show, Vicki goes from a starry-eyed teenager to a newlywed bride full of romantic dreams; an expectant mother; a frenzied housewife; a menopausal woman reentering the workforce; and a grandmother beginning her retirement.
