COLUMBIANA, Ohio – The Squeaky Wheel Theater Company will present “The Best Christmas Pageant Ever” for six performances, Dec. 6-15, at Columbiana Arts Theater (formerly Main Street Theater).
Tickets range from $25 to $15 and can be purchased at the door or in advance HERE.
Performances will be at 7 p.m. Dec. 6-7 and 13-14, and 2 p.m. Dec. 8 and 15.
The family-friendly musical focuses on the Herdman kids, who are the worst in town. When they demand roles in the Sunday school’s annual Christmas pageant, the whole town panics. Soon, everyone is calling for reluctant director Grace Bradley to cancel the whole thing. It’s up to the Bradleys and the Reverend to help their community see the Christmas story and the Herdman kids through new eyes in this musical adaptation of the funny and touching holiday classic.
Miss Americanas to Perform at the CAT
COLUMBIANA, Ohio – Miss Americanas, a tribute to Taylor Swift, will perform at 7 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 11, at Columbiana Arts Theater (formerly Main Street Theater).

Cabaret Dinner-theater Production of ‘Pete the Penguin’
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Youngstown State University Theatre will present a special cabaret dinner-theater production of “Pete the Penguin’s Vintage Variety Show” on Friday, Dec. 6, at B&O Station.
The show, dubbed “A Western Winter Cabaret,” is the Cliffe College of Fine Arts’ annual winter cabaret.
It will be a fresh take on “Pete the Penguin,” which premiered two weeks ago at YSU’s Ford Theater, redesigned to fit a more intimate setting.
It will feature more music than the original and cameo appearances by special guests.
Tickets are $27 ($12 for children) for the performance only; and $48 ($33 for children) for the pre-show buffet dinner and the performance. Go to YSU.Tix.com.

“Pete the Penguin’s Vintage Variety Show” was written and directed by YSU musical theater professor Adam Howard.

The Texas Tenors will present Deep in the Heart of Christmas, featuring holiday favorites.

Auditions for ‘Searching for Eden’ at Selah
STRUTHERS, Ohio – Auditions for Selah Dessert Theater’s production of the two-person romantic comedy “Searching for Eden: The Diaries of Adam and Eve” will take place by appointment only from 2 to 5 p.m. Dec. 8 and 4 to 8 p.m. Dec. 10.
One male and one female are needed to play both youthful innocents and also middle-age adults.

The play, by James Still, touches on the battle of the sexes and long-term relationships. It’s based on the work of Mark Twain.
The audience meets Adam and Eve as youths in the Garden of Eden and then as 40-something business professionals. They return to Eden, now a resort called E, to recapture the romance of their youth.
The Hair Band Experience Coming to Packard
WARREN, Ohio – The Hair Band Experience will come to Packard Music Hall on Saturday, Jan. 25, for a 7:30 p.m. concert.
The act pays tribute to the music of Poison, Def Leppard and Bon Jovi.
