The Update | Coffee Trail, Fashion Show and Some Classic Movies

NEW CASTLE, Pa. – The Lawrence County Coffee Club tourism trail, featuring seven coffee shops, is now in effect.

Sponsored by Visit Lawrence County, the trail has seven stops: 3 Thirty Three Apothecary, The Confluence, Joseph’s Coffee Shop, Mohawk Coffee Shop, National Grind Coffee & Tea Shop, Papa Gelateria (New Castle location) and Pulse Coffee Company.

To participate, pick up a passport at any of the participating locations and then visit all seven shops to have your passport stamped. Those who get all seven stamps will receive a coffee mug.

Each shop offers a hand-crafted experience ranging from specialty lattes to affogato al caffe, an Italian coffee-based dessert. Some shops are run by volunteers or have a cozy fireplace to relax and read a book, and others offer specialty baked goods and donuts.

The goal of the trail is to spotlight the shops and encourage visitors, said Janet Falotico, executive director of Visit Lawrence County.
