The Update | Dave Mason Coming to Robins; Canfield Fair Tickets at Discount Prices
WARREN, Ohio – Dave Mason will come to the Robins Theatre at 8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 16.
Tickets range from $35 to $90 (plus applicable fees) and will go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, May 24, at robinstheatre.com and at the box office, 160 E. Market St.
Canfield Fair Tickets at Reduced Rates
CANFIELD, Ohio – This weekend only, the Canfield Fair will sell three- and six-scan admission tickets, and ride passes, at a nearly 33% discount.
The sale will run from 6 a.m. today to 11 p.m. Monday on the fair’s website. Click the red “Tickets” icon in the upper-right corner of the home page.
A three-scan ticket allows three people to get in on the same day, or one person to get in on three days, or any combination. A six-scan ticket works in a similar way, but allows six admissions.
Arts in the Park Entertainment Series
NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. – The Arts in the Park weekly summer series at Borough Park will feature concerts, dance parties, movies and other family entertainment, plus food vendors.
Admission is free. The park is at 435 S. New Castle St.
The series begins at 6:30 p.m. Friday, May 24, with Youth Unplugged, a series of teen performers. To participate, call 724 944 1882.
The season will conclude Aug. 25 with a Wilmington’s Got Talent competition.

Family Fun Night, Pool Party at Firestone Park
COLUMBIANA, Ohio – Columbiana Project Playground will present Family Fun Night from 4 to 8 p.m. July 19 at Firestone Park, with a pool party from 8 to 10 p.m.
The event will include games, face painting and food trucks. Tickets will go on sale June 15 at playatfirestone.com.
Cultural Program, Dinner on Serbia
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Mahoning Valley Cultural Alliance will present a program on Serbia at 5 p.m. June 3 at Holy Trinity Serbian Orthodox Church, 54 Laird Ave.
Admission is $35 for Mahoning Valley Historical Society members and $40 for nonmembers.
The speaker will be Mike Andjelkovich, who is a member of the church and of Serbian ancestry.
The meal will be provided by the Serbian church caterers, while cultural enrichment will be offered by Tradicija Serbian dancers.
Reservations are required and can be made by calling MVHS at 330 743 2589 by May 29.
