The Update | Drive-thru Nativity at Keystone Safari Animal Park
GROVE CITY, Pa. – Keystone Safari will present its second annual drive-thru live nativity Friday, Dec. 17, through Sunday, Dec. 19.
Visitors to the animal park can take a half-mile drive through the park where they will encounter shepherds, wise man with their camels, soldiers on horseback and villagers of Bethlehem. The stable where Jesus was born is at the end of the drive, and the nativity scene.
Hours are 5 to 9 p.m. each day. The drive-thru entrance is an eighth of a mile south of the park’s main entrance at 2284 Mercer Butler Pike (Pa. route 258). Admission is $8 per person (free for children 2 and under).
The walk-thru section at Keystone Safari will be open Friday through Sunday from noon to 9 p.m., weather permitting.
Timber, the park’s giraffe calf, has been a western Pennsylvania star since her birth in September. She will be visible, along with the park’s herd of reindeer.
The park is also decorated with over 1 million holiday lights.
A professional ice sculptor, Santa and the Grinch will be on-site from 6 to 9 p.m. for free family photos. The walk-thru park admission rate is $12 per person (free for children ages 2 and under free). Admission is $19 for the park and the drive-thru in the same day.
Kids First Present Holiday Music
BOARDMAN, Ohio – Members of the Oakland Center for the Arts Kids First Theater Initiative will present a show of holiday music at 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday at Trinity Fellowship Church, 4749 South Ave. Admission is $10 ($5 for children).
