The Update | The Sixties Show Coming to Robins; Author of Cafaro Book to Lecture

WARREN, Ohio – The Sixties Show is coming to the Robins Theatre Friday, Nov. 4.

Tickets for the 8 p.m. performance, which recreates the greatest pop music of the 1960s, range from $49 to $29 (plus applicable fees), and go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, April 1, at RobinsTheatre.com and in person at the box office, 160 E. Market St.

A presale will begin at 10 a.m. Thursday, accessible only to Friends of the Robins Theatre. For information, go to the website.

The show is known for its exact recreations of the greatest songs of the 1960s. In addition to the concert experience, it is a multimedia Broadway-type production that includes special effects, narration, archival audio and newsreel footage and a light show. 

Mini Pop Kids Coming to the Robins

WARREN, Ohio – The Mini Pop Kids will come to the Robins Theatre on Sunday, July 24, for a 7 p.m. performance of current hits by stars such as Justin Bieber, Dua Lipa, BTS, Harry Styles, and Olivia Rodrigo, as well as throwback artists.

The Mini Pop Kids are Canada’s best-selling kids music group.

Tickets range from $37 to $15 (plus applicable fees) and go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, April 1 at RobinsTheatre.com and the theater box office, 160 E. Market St.

Author of Book on Cafaro to Give Presentation

BOARDMAN, Ohio – Local author and historian Tom Welsh, will present a program on his new book, “A Youngstown Legacy: The William Cafaro Story,” at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 2, at the St. John’s Meeting House in Boardman Park.

William Cafaro, along with his brother John, founded the Cafaro Corp., which built and managed malls and plazas across the United States, including Eastwood Mall in Niles.

The Cafaro Corp. is the largest privately owned shopping center development and management company in the United States.
