The Wean Foundation Welcomes Sarah Lowry to its Board

WARREN, Ohio – The Raymond John Wean Foundation announced the addition of Sarah Lowry to its board of directors.

Lowry is the director of the Healthy Community Partnership (HCP), an initiative of the Community Foundation of the Mahoning Valley, where she oversees the cross-sector collaborative and its work to create a healthier Mahoning Valley. Prior to joining HCP, she served as U.S Sen. Sherrod Brown’s Northeast Ohio regional representative.

“The Raymond John Wean Foundation’s mission, vision and values line up with my own as a lifelong resident and professional committed to building a healthier, more dynamic and equitable Mahoning Valley,” Lowry says. “Serving as a member of the board is an opportunity to contribute my knowledge, skills and experience to move this vision closer to reality.”

Lowry earned her master’s degree in American studies and bachelor’s degree in English and linguistics, both from Youngstown State University. In addition to the Wean Foundation, she also serves on the boards of Policy Matters Ohio, the League of Women Voters of Greater Youngstown and Friends of Fellows Riverside Gardens.
