Thiel College New Student Enrollment Up 19%

GREENVILLE, Pa — Thiel College has exceeded its enrollment goal for the class of 2022 and topped last year’s new student population by 19% with the enrollment of 280 new students, its admission office reported Thursday.

“The combination of our new programs and existing majors trains our graduates to be prepared for a high-paying, fulfilling positions in our region,” says Josay Zullo, vice president for enrollment management.

The college’s new student class includes first-year, transfer and international students from South Korea and Pakistan. Eleven percent of the new students enrolled in the college’s new programs in exercise science, health systems and sports management.

Meanwhile, Thiel’s newest major in environmental safety management is already drawing interest with students applying for entry into the program for fall 2019, Zullo says.
