Tickets Available for Acton’s Centofanti Symposium Lecture
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Dr. Amy Acton will be the featured speaker at Youngstown State University’s Centofanti Symposium lecture Oct. 4.
Tickets for the free event, which will take place at 6:30 p.m. in the Concert Hall at Stambaugh Auditorium, can be reserved HERE. Tickets are limited to four per order.
Acton, a Youngstown native and former director of the Ohio Department of Health, is a licensed physician in preventive medicine and public health with more than 30 years of experience in executive leadership, philanthropy, public service, teaching and advocacy.
Among her many honors, she received the JFK Library Profile in COVID Courage Award for her leadership during the early months of the COVID-19 pandemic and was recently named one of USA Today’s Women of the Year. She also received The Columbus Foundation’s 2020 Spirit of Columbus Award and is a recipient of Ohio State University’s highest alumni honor, The Ohio State Alumni Medalist Award.
