Tiffany Square Retail Center Sells for $16.5 Million

BOARDMAN, Ohio – The Tiffany Square retail plaza and associated outparcels has been sold for $16.5 million, Bill Kutlick of Platz Realty Group announced Friday.

Tiffany Square consists of a 179,000-square-foot retail center that has Marshall’s, Hobby Lobby, Ashley Furniture, Fin Feather Fur and Michael Alberini’s Restaurant. Four outparcels that also were part of the sale include Chick-fil-A, McDonalds, Panera Bread and Huntington Bank as tenants.

The retail center is “the premier retail shopping location” in Mahoning County and Boardman Township, says Kutlick, who sold the plaza. Built in 1973, the center was renovated in 2016 and 2017. About 8,000 square feet of the plaza is vacant.

The transaction closed Thursday and paperwork was filed Friday with Mahoning County to record the transaction, Kutlick said. He declined to identify the purchasers, but said they were local.

As of Friday afternoon, the plaza and four outparcels were still listed under limited liability corporations linked to the site’s addresses. A local attorney listed on a certificate filed with the Ohio Secretary of State’s office did not respond to a request for comment Friday afternoon.

Kutlick also sold the adjacent Tiffany Plaza on Tiffany Boulevard. Anchored by Marc’s, the retail center sold last year for $7.95 million.
