Tom Zidian Honored for Generosity
Zidian Group CEO Tom Zidian is one of several members of the community to be honored by the National Philanthropy Day Committee.
Zidian provided food to area hospital workers during the early stages of the pandemic. He also provided plastic bottles to Akron Children’s Hospital for disinfectants.
“It wasn’t easy to get,” Zidian says. “We sourced them and got them plastic bottles because they wanted to make their own hand sanitizer, which they did in their place in Akron.”
National Philanthropy Day will be celebrated on Nov. 13 at Stambaugh Auditorium. The event will be a hybrid event, with 100 attendees and a livestream.
