Tough Decisions as a YSU Trustee in 2020

In our final part of our Thoughts Leaders interview with Dr. Anita Hackstedde, the president and CEO of Salem Regional Medical Center, she discusses the tough decisions she has to make as a YSU trustee in 2020 and what’s ahead for the Salem Regional Medical Center.

“Everywhere you go, there’s always this friction between management and everybody else and their shouldn’t be. Our goals are the same in the end. The goals are to keep the organization [Youngstown State University] healthy and the value of the employees and to pay them a competitive wage. Everybody wants that,” Hackstedde says.

Hackstedde goes on to tell us what her major goals are for the Salem Regional Medical Center.
