Trumbull County Historical Scavenger Hunt Set for Saturday

WARREN, Ohio — An interactive local history event is back for the fourth year.

The Trumbull County Historical Society is hosting Race thru the Past, an in-car and on-the-go scavenger hunt of Trumbull County history. Participants will have a chance to learn about some of the county’s historical landmarks.

“Trumbull County has a rich history, and we are excited to bring this event back for the fourth year,” TCHS education and outreach manager Ryan MacLennan says. “This race allows TCHS to highlight some of the historical landmarks throughout Trumbull in a safe and playful competition.”

The event will take place Saturday starting at 2 p.m. The starting location is the Morgan History Center at 328 Mahoning Ave., Warren. Tickets are $5 per person, including post-race drinks and pizza at the last, undisclosed location.

Tickets are required in advance and must be purchased by 5:30 p.m. Friday.
