Trumbull Historical Society Launches ‘Third Thursday’ Cocktail Hour
WARREN, Ohio —The Trumbull County Historical Society is launching the first Third Thursday Cocktail Hour this coming Thursday, April 21 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the historic John Stark Edwards House, 303 Monroe St. Sponsored by The Sutliff Museum, this event is an informal, conversational cocktail hour and presents visitors with an opportunity to tour Warren’s oldest remaining home.
This month will feature Warren’s own Modern Methods Brewing Co. serving up a variety of local favorites. The series will continue every third Thursday of each month, featuring a different local brewery, winery, or bartender.
“We are thrilled to partner with The Sutliff Museum to open the Edwards House to the public for these events,” said Ryan MacLennan, the historical society’s education and outreach manager. “We want this historic landmark to be an active facility that fosters community engagement and believe this event is a great start towards this goal.”
The cocktail hour is open to the public. Light hors d’oeuvres will be provided, and street parking is available in front of the home on Monroe Street.
