Ultium Cells Hosts Job Fairs at Eastwood Mall, Campbell Community Center

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Job seekers can speak directly with Ultium Cells recruiters at a career fair June 29 at Eastwood Mall Event Centre at Eastwood Mall in Niles, and June 30 at the Community Literacy Workforce and Cultural Center, 436 Struthers Coitsville Road, near Campbell Middle School.

Ultium Cells is a joint venture between General Motors and LG Energy Solution that will create over 1,100 new jobs at its $2.3 billion Lordstown facility, which will open next year.

At both career events, the Ultium Cells team will share information about careers in manufacturing battery cells for electric vehicles. Company representatives will be there to answer questions, discuss career opportunities and guide potential candidates through the application process. Representatives will also provide brief presentations about Ultium Cells.

“This is a great opportunity for us to connect with the community and help people learn more about a career in battery cell manufacturing, no matter their previous working experience,” said Tom Gallagher, chief operating officer of Ultium Cells, in a statement.

Interested candidates can also view and apply to open positions on the Ultium Cells website UltiumCell.com
