United FFA Chapter Seeks Participants for Career Fair
HANOVERTON, Ohio – The United FFA chapter will host its first career fair from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. May 8 at the United Local Schools gymnasium.
The United FFA chapter is seeking businesses, business owners and career professionals to help expose students in sixth to 12th grade to career fields, pathways and industries they might not know about.
“We are asking for representatives to talk with students with a display and/or small demonstration at your assigned table,” Tyler Gentry, FFA advisor and an agriculture education teacher at United Local Schools, said in a news release.
“If you are in the market for employees, feel free to recruit students, pass out job descriptions or just educate students about your industry,” Gentry said.
