URC Celebrates Its New Home
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – United Returning Citizens held a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate its new headquarters at 611 Belmont Ave.
The 1,100-square-foot space has undergone partial renovations, and the organization is seeking funding to continue renovations, according to Dionne Dowdy-Lacey, co-founder and executive director.
“This is fully functioning on this side, and we’ll just keep pushing until we get everything that we need to support the youth in the community with the community hub,” Dowdy-Lacey said.
