Universal Stainless Begins Construction on $15M Expansion
NORTH JACKSON, Ohio — Universal Stainless and Alloy Products Inc. has invested $15 million to increase its production. The 13,000 sq. ft expansion is planned to be completed by Q2 of 2023.
“Coming out of the pandemic, we see a significant growth in air travel which is driving the aerospace aftermarket,” says Dennis Oates, president and CEO of Stainless and Alloy Products Inc. “Boeing and Airbus are beginning to ramp up their build rates in 2023 and 2024, which means that they need to buy the metal now. So the aerospace metal supply chain is very hot right now.”
