US Capitol Security Failure Will Be Investigated, Ryan Assures
Congressman Tim Ryan pledges to “get to the bottom” of the security failure that allowed a pro-Trump mob to storm the U.S. Capitol building during a session of Congress.
“What’s mind-boggling to me is that when they finally got their [expletive] together, they cleared the Capitol,” said Ryan.
Ryan also said Vice President Mike Pence and members of both parties should seriously consider invoking the 25th amendment to remove President Donald Trump from office before inauguration day January 20.
“It is scary to think that this president will be in place for the next couple of weeks,” said Ryan.
