Vallourec USA Names Frischmann Senior VP

HOUSTON, Texas – Bertrand Frischmann was appointed senior vice president, North America and president, Vallourec USA Corp. effective April 1. He will be based here, lead all Vallourec businesses in North America and report to Edouard Guinotte, chairman of the Vallourec Group.

Frischmann began his career in the automotive and consulting sectors and joined Vallourec in 2004 as a controller. He then transferred to Youngstown to lead the integration of Vallourec Star into the Vallourec Group. Two years later, he was appointed production manager of the tube mill at the same site.

He left the United States in 2009 to manage the Saint-Saulve tube mill in France. He stayed there four years before relocating to the United Kingdom as the managing Director of Vallourec Oil & Gas UK. Back in France, he was appointed managing director of Serimax in 2016, then director of the OCTG & Accessories Product Line in 2017.

He is a graduate of the Ecole des Mines, Paris, and holds an engineering degree in industrial engineering and logistics.

Nicolas de Coignac, formerly senior vice president, North America has returned to France and assumed new responsibilities within the executive committee at the Vallourec Group.

Vallourec produces tubular solutions for the energy markets and for demanding industrial applications such as oil and gas wells in harsh environments, new generation power plants, challenging architectural projects, and high-performance mechanical equipment. The Paris-based company employs 19,000 in 20 countries
