VEC to Realign, Combine Companies Under One Name

GIRARD, Ohio – VEC Inc., 977 Tibbetts Wick Road, will realign its companies, Valley Electrical Consolidated Inc. and Evets Electric, merging them and having them operate as VEC Inc. beginning Jan. 1, its president and owner, Rex Ferry, announced Monday.

Evets Electric does business as Evets Oil & Gas Construction Services.

Merging the companies and having them operate under one name is intended “to position the contractor as a total solutions provider to current and potential customers across the country,” Ferry said. “We are looking forward to completing this realignment and being able to offer all services to our clients and customers.”

Valley Electrical and Evets offer electrical, mechanical, fabrication and civil services to several markets such as industrial, oil and gas, education and health care, Ferry said.

Ferry also announced an internal realignment that took effect July 1, the day he returned as president.

Gina Pastella is executive vice president of operations, Sharon Brown executive vice president of finance, Dominic Spelich executive vice president of client services, Jeff Barber executive vice president of projects and Brandon Davies succeeds Barber as vice president of systems integration.
