Veterinary Centre Expands to Meet Demand

MINERAL RIDGE, Ohio – Mahoning Valley Veterinary Centre held a ribbon-cutting ceremony Monday to celebrate 13 years of growth and the expansion from 1,400 square feet to 4,400 square feet so it can serve more pets in the Mahoning Valley.

The $3.2 million investment included new equipment and more staff in addition to the expansion.

“Everyone was getting a pet during COVID, and since then we’ve really tried to match that growth so that there is a place for people to go with new pets who haven’t been to a vet before,” says Stacy McCale, practice manager for Mahoning Valley Veterinary Centre. “We don’t like to turn anyone away, so this is one of the reasons why we want to do this – so we’d never have to turn anyone away with their pet.”
