Village Quality Solutions Expands to Cortland
CORTLAND, Ohio – Village Quality Solutions, a quality assurance and auditing company, is expanding into a product distribution and fulfillment center at 500 W. Main St. here.
The company offers product drop-ship inspection, warehousing, sub-assembly, product assembly, product packaging and distribution. Its new facility will be inside the Maxill Building (pictured above).
Village Quality Solutions currently operates at 10919 Mahoning Ave. in North Jackson, and will maintain operations here as well, at least for the immediate future, says Jeff Liber, CEO. The company, which employs 10, was established in 1987 and is ISO 9001:2015 certified. Clients include major automotive manufacturers such as Chrysler, Ford and Nissan, he notes.
“We are honored to have served the needs of the manufacturers and suppliers of the GM Lordstown plant for over 30 years,” says Liber. “Our hearts go out to those impacted by the plant shutdown. But VQS believes in the Valley, and we know that our area is growing and thriving, therefore new business and employment opportunities will arise.
The new fulfillment center can house a manufacturer’s product for inspection of their inventory and storage, and is available to assist with shipping needs in and out of the country, the CEO notes.
