Vintage Ohio Wine Festival Returns with More Options
KIRTLAND, Ohio – This year’s Vintage Ohio wine festival promises to be the biggest one yet, with vintners from across the state offering their finest products and overnight packages available for the first time.
The event, now in its 29th year, will take place Aug. 2-3 at Lake Metroparks Farmpark. It is presented by the Ohio Wine Producers Association.
Vintage Ohio has become a place for established wineries to connect with old friends and for new wineries to show their best vintages.
Guests will be able to sample wines from 15 Ohio wineries, ranging from traditional varietals such as pinot gris, chardonnay, cabernet franc and riesling to fruit wines made from fresh strawberries, blackberries, peaches and raspberries.
The event also includes cooking school demonstrations, three stages of live music, artisans and shopping. For a complete schedule, go to visitvintageohio.com.
In addition to the 15 wineries, four cideries will also offer their products on Festival Field, and nine more wineries will be pouring in the VIP Gold Medal Experience. There will also be many food trucks and vendors.
