VLT Play Dips Month-Over-Month at Racino

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – November wagers on video lottery terminals at Hollywood Gaming at Mahoning Valley Race Course totaled $91.6 million, down more than $4.6 million from the month before.

VLT betting last month was up $3.3 million from a year earlier, according to the most recent online reports from the Ohio Lottery Commission. Wagers in November 2017 were at $88.2 million. October’s VLT play total was $96.2 million.

VLT wagers dropped about $5 million between October and November last year.

Patrons at the Austintown racino took home $81.3 million in November, compared with $85.1 million in October and $78.3 million in November 2017.

Net win for last month was $9.1 million, down from $9.8 million in October and up from $8.7 million in November 2017.

Penn National Gaming Inc., which owns the racino, received nearly $6 million as its commission for operating the facility. That compares with $6.5 million the month before and $5.8 million in November 2017.
