VLT Play Rises at Hollywood Gaming in October

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Video lottery terminal wagers at Hollywood Gaming at Mahoning Valley Race Course rose to $111.37 million in October.

The figure is up from September’s $109.19 million and $93.56 million in October 2018. In 2019, play peaked in March, when $118.99 million was wagered at VLTs at the racino.

Winnings at Hollywood Gaming totaled $98.88 million, ahead of $96.92 million posted in September and $92.96 million in October last year.

Net winnings, wagers minus credits won and promotional play credits, rose to $10.87 million from $10.45 million the month prior and $9.4 million a year ago.

The commission for Penn National Gaming, which owns Hollywood Gaming, in October was $7.19 million, ahead of $6.9 million in September and $6.22 million a year ago.

Across the seven VLT sites in Ohio, wagers totaled $1.007 billion. Winnings totaled $977.25 million.
